I must say, in the 10days since I posted last, lots has gone on.
First I went to Tina's 19th birthday at a Hookah Bar named Guru.
Only had 1 drink (low on funds that night) but really enjoyed the hookah, out-smoked most there. We were so hungry by the end of the night I gave in and ate at McDonalds (Only place open at 2:30am). Delicious! I feel that the patties tasted more like Jimmy Dean Breakfast Sausages though. The bun was less desirable; so I simply removed 1...
The Mid-Autumn Festival took me on an adventure to 'The Peak' which we had to travel through the MTR Station to Hong Kong City via Central, through a huge mall, and then up the Rail Station which went up at ~45%. When we got there I realized I had been there before the first day I went to Hong Kong, just to a different area, and the view was much better at night with the cities lights ablaze and the fog rolling in. Got to see where Batman: the Dark Knight was filmed, which was super cool, and interestingly my new nickname is Batman (Related to my favorite leather jacket and my un-relenting quench for justice). 9/22/10 was a fun night...so fun I woke up at 4PM after going to bed at 4AM; despite getting back at 1AM.

Long time no post...silly settings options
So, been a while since I posted last...almost 3weeks now!
Here are the titles for posts and short descriptions of what I would have talked about.
-Thunder in the air above the land of the Dragon
When we were flying from Korea to Hong Kong we went through an enormous Thunder Storm. The sky was purple through the clouds, sorta bumpy too
-Slightly settled in...Bring on the rice!
Room was set up, roommate has been here for 2 weeks before i got here. Its tinier then the freshman dorms at Linfield, and you can't move anything around either... The BU Fiesta is mediocre, but cheap... Go to the markets often for better food, I am eating rice 2x a day now! Did I ever mention I hate the humidity?
-Thats no moon, thats a giant budha!
Went to visit the Giant Budha today. WOW! Posted the pics on my Facebook. Beyond amazing in size and scale. Lots of shops built around the Lift, sorta like Disneyland-esque vendors.
-Mong Kok or Bust
I really like the market/trade-bazzar there. Go every now-and-then with the French girls for trade encounters. Lots of wandering about for good food and bargains. I save most of my $ for food
-Billy Boozers is gonna get ya (and all your money)
This is the closest bar to campus. Right across from the old campus and next to the 7-11. Man is it horrible! Overpriced and poorly made drinks. However its the closest bar that you dont need to ride an MTR from...Open Bar nights are good I guess, but the liquor is so bad I usually feel sick after the first drink. Man do I love Oregon Breweries! What I would do for a Chocolate Oatmeal Stout or a Ruby right now...
-Classes? I'm not here to learn; oh wait, I am...
Education is overrated. All seem really easy and the students don't really care. Likely because minimal HW, participation grade is almost non-existent, all that matters is the final, and if u miss more then 3classes in anyone you fail...so I see people talking, texting, and even knitting during classes. My topics are neat at least...
More topics soon.
